About Nicholas Rogers

Nicholas has lived in and around West Norwood for a number of years, first in Bloom Grove, then in St. Julians Farm Road and now on Rosendale Road. He is an active member of the Knights Hill Action Team and is standing for election to Lambeth Borough Council next year.

His day job is in planning and he began his career at Transport for London. Between 2007 and 2008 Nicholas was a volunteer Special Constable in the Metropolitan Police, patrolling the streets of London with regular police officers. In his spare time Nicholas enjoys writing, reading, cinema, architecture, history and playing badminton.

Nicholas said: ‘I joined the Conservatives because I was shocked at how badly Lambeth Council is run. For me, election to the Council isn’t a step on the political career ladder, it’s about having a chance to do something improve our local area and stand up for West Norwood residents.’
