About the role of Deputy Chairman (Membership)

The responsibilities of the Deputy Chairman (Membership) centre around supporting and encouraging each ward branch to meet, and exceed, their  annual financial and membership targets.

The success of our Association depends heavily on having an active and varied membership by recruiting new members throughout the year and following up on enquiries from potential members. This involves giving people a reason to join or renew their membership by identifying benefits that most appeal to them through our regular campaigning activities across the constituency or lively programme of social events with guest speakers and policy forum debates.
