Below is a description of some of the more frequent types of activities taking place in the constituency.

Coffee Mornings: Our Coffee mornings are held at the constituency office every Saturday morning and occasionally during the week. They also function as a fundraising event where our dedicated volunteers sell homemade cakes and serve tea and coffee while sorting through items donated by locals for re-sale.

An Evening With: These are evening receptions often hosted by one of our members featuring a special guest.
Drinks and Finger food are served.  Speeches may be given including one from the special guest who usually takes questions  from the audience afterwards, followed by a raffle and/or auction of prizes.

Political Discussion Meetings: At our political discussion meetings, members get teh opportunity to discuss amongst themselves on topical political issues. These might be local or national. At some meetings a guest politician is invited to discuss their day to day political activities. Previous speakers have been councillors, GLA members and MPs.

New Members Evening: The local party holds a New Members Evening open to everyone who may have joined in the previous year as well as those interested in joining. It is a drinks evening, usuall y hosted at the home of the association chairman.

Annual Dinner: The association holds an annual dinner once a year, during the sumer months. The dinner is a formal affair, a sit-down meal with a speech given by a special guest of honour at a local venue.

Seasonal Parties: A themed evening revolving around anything from Christmas, New Year, Bonfire Night, Halloween and many others.
