As you may be aware, there are plans to redvelop the Norwood Hall site (situated next to the railway line off Knight’s Hill) to provide a new council customer service and leisure centre and NHS ‘neighbourhood resource centre’. This is part of a joint project between Lambeth Council and NHS Lambeth (formerly Lambeth Primary Care Trust).

Carl, Andrew and Suzanne agree with many local residents that West Norwood needs access to improved leisure facilities and health and council services in West Norwood, but we are concerned that after three years the plans are not finalised and some of the funding is still not guaranteed.

There will be an opportunity to view the latest plans for Norwood Hall, and meet the architects and representatives from NHS Lambeth and Lambeth Council at two open days in West Norwood Library on Norwood High Street SE27:

• Thursday 10 December from 10am to 8.00pm
• Saturday 12 December from 10am to 4pm
