In a year or so, Norwood Park is set to benefit from cash for a new ’splash play’ paddling pool area for kids.

We have been supporting the Friends of Norwood Park in their campaign for improved play facilities since the existing paddling pool fell into disrepair.  After years of hard work the Friends have succeeded in securing the money from a national fund.  The next step is to design something fun and interactive for children to use, and now there is an opportunity to have your say on the design.

Council officers are organising a public event in the park to get views from residents and park users this weekend, and we encourage everyone with an interest in this issue to come along.  The details are:
