Camden Hill Road disabled bays review

We recently asked the Council to make sure that all disabled parking bays in Camden Hill Road are still needed after concerns were raised that some bays are no longer in use.

The Council has agreed to carry out a review of all bays and a statutory consultation will start in August, when all residents will be contacted in writing.  It will ensure that people who requested existing bays still need and use them, while also asking neighbours for their views.

Where bays are still needed they will be retained.  On other occasions where people have moved away or stopped using a car, the Council may not know that a bay could be removed.  When this happens it reduces the number of available spaces and adds to parking stress, so it makes sense to double check from time to time.

The whole process usually lasts for 12 to 16 weeks.  If you know of a bay that is no longer needed, or you have a bay that needs to be kept, please contact Carl on 07900 958348 or carlbelgrove@gmail.com and we will make sure that this information is passed on to council officers.
